Got questions about our services or what therapy might look like? Here are some of the most common questions our new clients have:
What services do you offer?
We offer a range of allied health services to support your child’s development, including:
Do I need a referral to access your services?
No referral is needed! You can contact us directly to get started. However, if you’re using a Medicare plan (like a Chronic Disease Management Plan), you will need a GP referral.
Do you work with NDIS participants?
Yes — we are a registered NDIS provider and can support NDIA-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed clients.
Do you see children at home, school, or childcare?
Yes! We offer sessions at our clinic as well as in homes, schools, childcare, and community settings — depending on your child’s needs and goals.
How do I get started with services?
It’s simple! Just contact our team, and we’ll walk you through the process. We’ll ask a few questions about your child and match you with the right therapist. You can also join our waitlist if we don’t have immediate availability.
How long are therapy sessions?
It’s simple! Just contact our team, and we’ll walk you through the process. We’ll ask a few questions about your child and match you with the right therapist. You can also join our waitlist if we don’t have immediate availability.
Most sessions are 45–60 minutes depending on your child’s needs and age. Your therapist will recommend a session length that suits your child best.

How often will my child need therapy?
This varies for each child. Some families attend weekly sessions, others fortnightly or as needed. We’ll work with you to develop a plan that fits your child’s goals and your family’s routine.
Can I sit in on my child’s sessions?
Absolutely. We welcome and encourage parent involvement, especially in early sessions. You’re a key part of your child’s progress.
What if I miss a session?
We understand things happen! Just let us know as early as possible. We have a cancellation policy, which we’ll explain when you book your first session, or you can check out our Policies section.
Do you provide reports or assessments?
Yes — we can provide detailed assessments and written reports for NDIS, schools, kindergartens, or medical providers upon request.
Do I need a referral for an assessment?
No, you can book directly. A referral from your GP or paediatrician is also welcome, and may open up a Medicare rebate.
Will an assessment tell me if my child has autism or ADHD?
Our assessments look at communication, literacy, functional capacity, sensory processing and motor development. They don’t provide a diagnosis for autism or ADHD. If your child needs that kind of diagnostic assessment, we can help point you toward the right specialist pathway.
What happens after I make a referral?
We book an intake appointment as quickly as we can. That first appointment helps us decide the right supports for your child, and often means some level of support can start sooner, even if there’s still a wait for an ongoing therapy spot.
Can an assessment be funded through NDIS or Medicare?
Yes. Assessments can be accessed privately, through Medicare (subject to referral and rebate eligibility), or under an NDIS plan.
